Unifies Urban Elements with a Classic Look
Classic Hues. The original photo above has a lot of elements and has no definite visual anchor. This is common for any shot taken in an urban setting or street photograph. To make the image more effective, Urban Warm unifies all elements and defines the subject of the photo by using its unique warm brown tones. It achieves this effect by muting colors and tinting the highlights with a subtle sepia and pastel undertone filter. You can notice how all the elements in the After photo now look complementary; this, in effect, focuses our attention on the subject and simplifies the look of the image.
Enhances Natural Light for Portraits
Naturally Brightens. Urban Warm preset is perfect for portraiture regardless of location. This next example specifically demonstrates the preset’s enhancements on images taken under natural light.
The original Before photo is not as engaging; it has lost too many details due to underexposure and excessive shadows. The Urban Warm preset fixes this by revealing textures; it increases sharpening and clarity, too. We can see how effective these improvements are in the After photo above. The preset has finely defined the texture of the man’s black jacket and the highlights of his hair. We can even see more of the roof and the tree in the background. The preset’s sunlit warmth further enhances the subject’s skin and reveals all facial features, particularly his eyes. Some vignetting is also added to frame the subject.
Adds Pastel Undertones for a Warm Urban Look
Warm Pastel. This free preset uniquely enhances fashion photo shoots. This is the look to use if you want to show off your outfit in Instagram especially when out travelling. The delicate matte pastel texture gives an air of sophistication and elegance. To balance out the light aesthetic and add depth, Urban Warm also deepens blacks throughout an image, in both foreground and background. You will always get a stunning result that is both cinematic and modern. Notice how this preset tweaks a specific color, too: because of an increase in the saturation and luminance of oranges tones, the woman’s pants become a bright powdery peach.
