We designed the Drone Eye preset to optimize colors, tones, and textures of aerial photos. It brings out the colors of the image by applying a warm color temperature and enhancing both contrast and saturation. The preset then blends the tones professionally to maximize depth and detail.
You will especially find this preset useful if you often do drone photography. This preset, after all, specializes in top-view capture of landscapes and real estate architecture. Its blend of tones and colors bring out all the essential details. It is ideal to use for digital portfolios, including as a filter for social media like Instagram.
Enhances Natural Lighting
Daylight Warmth. The preset first brightens the image by simulating daylight. For this, Drone Eye increases exposure and warms color temperature. This effect makes the scene look like it was shot on a sunny day.
The preset also increases contrast levels. This amplifies the colors to match the applied brightening adjustments. You can easily see the result in the After photo above. Notice how the photo is now visibly bright and warm. The colors, too, look rich and full.
Optimizes Tones for Landscapes
Moderate Tones. The preset also brightens the scene by moderately adjusting the tones. It illuminates whites and tempering the highlights. The sky in the example above shows this well: notice how it is brighter yet more vivid. You can see more of the cloud as well.
To complement this look, the preset also brightens blacks and shadows. This lessens the intensity and harshness of dark tones in a landscape. Drone Eye then reinforces these tweaks in the tone curve for more accurate results.
Amplifies Midtone Contrasts
Crisp Midtones. Drone Eye refines details by amplifying the photo’s midtones. It significantly increases clarity and contrast to fully draw out the details of the scene. In the After photo above, you can notice how the preset finely boosts clarity by examining the rocks and the entire coast. You can also appreciate more of the textures now because of Drone Eye’s improvements in sharpening
Boosts Color Intensity
Vibrant Hues. The preset amplifies colors as well by boosting both vibrance and saturation. Notice how the above aerial photo of a landscape looks so vibrant. The greens look deep and crips; the preset also brings out the colors of the beach and the ocean. Despite the intensity, see how the colors remain looking natural. With this preset, you do not have to worry about artificial-looking colors and tones.
Finely Adjusts Color Saturation and Luminance
Deep and Brilliant. Drone Eye applies fine adjustments in vibrance and saturation by individually tweaking each color. It pays close attention to the blues for deeply colorful sky and sea. The preset creates this look by increasing the saturation and lowering the luminance of blue hues. It then adjusts other colors accordingly to complement this specific enhancement.
As you can see in the After photo above, the preset also adds light to warm colors. This serves as a nice contrast against the rich blues, and enhances the accentuating light of the golden hour. Drone Eye, after all, also boosts the luminance of red, orange, yellow, green, and aqua colors. See how complex the colors are now in the resulting image.
