Yoga Sunrise free Lightroom preset creates a blend of soft and airy hues to produce the look of sunrise. It captures the calm, quiet, feel of a morning yoga practice. This visual style adds a low-contrast complexity to skin tones, making it ideal for outdoor portraiture.
To make the most out of its delicate tones, it is best to use this preset on images with diffused natural lighting. You can see its adjustments and their corresponding effects on the examples below.
You can try using this as an Instagram filter as well! Its stylish pastel radiance can make any feed cohesive and appealing. It makes a great motif across all types of photography.
Recreates the Colors of Sunrise
Morning Radiance. To create its signature look and feel, Yoga Sunrise finely mixes color temperature, tinting, and split toning. It warms the image and adds a layer of green tint. You can see the result in the After image above: the lighting is now filled with the golden hues of sunrise.
For the brightest areas to blend seamlessly with the light motif, the preset also adds brown to the highlights. You can examine how these affect the subject. That little extra brown helps tone down harsh whites and matches them with the skin tone. As a result, the entire image now exudes that appealing warm brilliance.
Brightens and Moderates Tones
Brightening. The preset produces its sunlit look by applying multiple brightening adjustments. It first increases the exposure to add more light, then it more finely tempers the tones. It first adds more light to both whites and blacks, then moderates their highlight and shadows extremities. As a result, Yoga Sunrise brightens the image without producing overblown or harsh tones.
You can see how significantly lighter the After photo is. The entire scene looks bright throughout. The landscape looks sunny, and the subject more illuminated. Notice how these adjustments remove unwanted shadows as well.
Amplifies Colors and Softens Midtones
Soft yet Vibrant. The color motif of the Yoga Sunrise preset comes from a complex combination of color adjustments. It sits between soft and vibrant — it is an ideal setting. To create this look, it first reduces the image contrast to soften color intensity, then lowers clarity to undersaturate the midtones.
It is from this lightened look that the preset amplifies vibrance and saturation. It optimizes these two settings to produce rich skin tones and moderate color accents.
The After photo above shows the result well. You can clearly see the enhanced colors on the subject. These tweaks also blend so well with the previously mentioned improvements in light and tone.
Applies Refined Adjustments in Saturation and Luminance
Vivid Cool Hues. To give a nice contrast especially to outdoor photos, the preset saturates neutral-temp and cool colors. These bring out the colors of the sky, ocean, and some midtones. On the other hand, it undersaturates orange and yellows hues for that unmistakable warm pastel look.
Color Brilliance. The preset finally adds extra brilliance by increasing the luminance of orange, yellow, green, and some reds. This makes skin look radiant on portraits, and plants look more illuminated. Look at the above After photo to observe the results. Note the woman’s enhanced skin tones and brilliant red hair.
To complement these, Yoga Sunrise, on the other hand, lowers the luminance of aqua and blue colors. This deepens the hues and complements their amplified saturation.
