Brightens and Adds Contrast
Radiant Hues. At the base of this premium preset are the fundamental adjustments in light and color. Rosette begins by adding light and contrast to the photo. It moderately increases exposure to add that needed brilliance. This will, later on, be complemented by a series of fine tweaks.
Notice how the After photo above looks noticeably brighter but without overblown highlights. This is because of the preset’s enhancements in tone, as discussed in the next example below.
Softens Tones for a Tender Look
Mild Tones. Rosette softens both light and dark tones of an image to create a tender, somewhat airy, look. It tones down whites and lightens blacks. It then adjusts the extremities; it mutes highlights and brightens shadows.
Examine the After image above. In this example, you can easily tell why it is one of our most elegant pink presets for Lightroom! See how the preset transforms the landscape: there are no harsh tones like overblown whites or stark blacks. Note also how this aesthetic goes hand in hand with Rosette’s tender pink hues.
Moderates Color Intensity
Balanced Hues. The preset evens out color intensity throughout the image. While it lowers the overall saturation of the image, it amplifies vibrance so that the hues are equally vivid. As a result, you get a photo with mild yet crisp hues.
You can observe this in the image above. The “Have a nice catch!” sign in the After photo looks lighter, yet notice how it beautifully retains much depth.
Creates a Rosy Glow
Pink Hues. The signature look of this preset largely happens in the HSL panel. Rosette’s adjustments in Hue converts colors to attractive shades of pink/peach. These are then enhanced by tweaks in saturation (intensity) and luminance (brilliance).
The preset deepens yellows and converts red hues to a shade closer to orange. Then, to produce complementing water and skies, Rosette makes blue and aqua hues light and brilliant. You can see the result in the After photo above. Pay attention to the woman’s dress, the sunlight, and the image’s overall rosy radiance.
