Superia 100 is a free Lightroom preset that makes your images look like it was taken from a film camera. This preset closely resembles the Fuji Superia 100 film as it customizes its light, tone color, and texture adjustments to recreate that classic analog camera look and feel.
Collection: Film Presets
Best for: Natural Light, Outdoors
Style: Warm, Natural Vibrance
Just like in any analog photography, it is best to take shots with a lot of natural light. This preset is perfect for your outdoor photos, whether portraits or landscapes to enhance warm tones, color vibrance, and brightness. Like all our film Lightroom presets, this is perfect to amp up your Instagram feed for a classic, polished, and bright look. This aesthetic doesn’t go out of style and can easily be used by beginners and professional photographers.
Creates Vivid Colors
Retro Tones. The preset adds brow tones in its highlights for a warmer look and feel. This also enhances natural skin tones, just like the Fuji Superia 100 Film.
Vivid Tones. With the example above, you can see how the color tones change in the After image. You can see it through the blue sky in the Before photo, how it changes into a mix of light gray and purple that complements the color tones of the image. It is also noticeable how the woman’s skin tone becomes tan, and the green and orange hues of her jumpsuit are more vibrant, giving an overall sunny, happy vibe.
Finer Details. The Superia 100 preset for Lightroom, lightens shadows and highlights, and also adds grain to the preset. These adjustments help bring out textures throughout the image. You can see these adjustments in the photo above. Notice how the photo on the right appears brighter and clearer. The man’s skin tone is a lot warmer in color, and the yellow and blue tones of his clothes are more evident. His hair and beard also gain a rough texture as well as his denim jacket, seeing more texture on the denim itself.
You can also try out other variants of this Fujifilm preset: the Superia 400 bright film preset and the Superia 800 grainy film preset. As you can tell, the difference is primarily in the replication of the ISO intensity. We highly recommend that you try them all out and see what’s best for your photo.
Adds Warmth To Your Images
Summer Vibe. The photo on the right seems more lively and inviting because of the color change and brightness. The preset adds exposure to its light settings to increase the transparency of colors and details.
In the After photo, you can see enhanced tones in the sand and the flowers, this is through the preset’s added brown tones in highlights and increasing contrast. The color effect is also seen through the color of the sea as it turns into a slight green tint on the lighter parts of the water when the preset was applied. This helps create more depth and color contrasts with the rest of the elements. To top off the film camera look, some grain is added for a soft texture.
Blooming Bride. Just like in the Fuji Superia 100 Film, the preset applies like green tones in its shadows. This makes the image appear like it was taken using a vivid film. If you look at the After photo, you can see how the green tones of the leaves are now lush and vibrant. The woman’s skin tone is more pigmented, making her seem less pale. Her white dress also transforms as it gains a brighter tone eliminating the blue tint on the Before image.
