This pink preset for Lightroom looks great on beach or coastal photos, as you can see in the images above; see how the preset handles the colors of sea and sand perfectly. It creates this effect by adding an overarching warm pink tone. Then, for the signature matte texture, Pastelscapes applies further adjustments in tone: it decreases exposure and contrast, mutes highlights and some whites, and brightens blacks.
Brightens as it Softens Tones

It further applies several and more detailed improvements in the tone curve. It mutes highlights and brightens both light and dark tones. This balanced combination of tweaks produces tones that are neither flat nor overblown. The resulting effect complements the overall pastel style of this preset.

Finely Adjusts Colors for Stunning Pastel Hues
A Splash of Pastels. Pastelscapes boosts both hue and saturation of warm and mid-temp colors. You can notice this on the darker tones of the image above, like the sand and the coconut tree trunk. On the other hand, it softens cool hues, hence the complementary blues of the sky.
With these adjustments in color intensity are tweaks in the color’s lightness. The preset increases the luminance of cool and mid-temp colors, and softens reds and yellows for that unmistakable airy summer feel.
