Optimizes Lighting in Landscape Photos
Natural Radiance. We begin by optimizing light. We moderately increase exposure, bump up magenta levels, and warm the color temperature. You can easily tell what we’re trying to do by observing the After photo above.
All these settings blend to recreate the radiance and hue of the afternoon sun. This highway photo is now considerably brighter and warmer. This new motif adds drama while maintaining the natural look of the image.
Illuminates Roads and Highways
Brilliance. The brightening does not stop there. We also add more light to tones: you get brilliant whites and lighter shadows. This setting improves depth and illuminates dark areas. This granular settings also allows us to retain much of the photo’s depth.
Even with the added brilliance, notice how the terrain remains defined and textured. This is exactly what we love about Highway Trip! Nothing looks washed out, colors and details are preserved.
Adds Definition to Roads and Terrain
Depth and Detail. To do this, we increase the clarity levels and vibrance of the photo. These tweaks affect only the midtones. The color adjustment is enough to boost hues without making them look like plastic, while the texture refinement simply brings out the environment’s natural textures.
In this photo example, we’d like to draw your attention to the mountains and trees. Examine what the Highway Trip preset does, especially the improvements in lighting and detail.
Crisp Textures. As you may have already noticed, we also amplify sharpening levels. Texture, after all, is vital to any outdoor photo. Simply compare the highway, the trees, and the crisply defined mountains in the background. This enhanced visual element transforms the scene and makes it much more engaging.
Produces Bright Skies in Landscapes
Vivid Blues. A road trip preset isn’t complete without specific settings for skies and horizons. We can’t miss it, of course — it helps define the overall motif.
In the After photo above, see how our vibrance and luminance boosts come together. The sky is now on a lighter, brighter, shade. It complements the highway scene much more beautifully, because of the resulting color contrast.
