Warmer Tone Curve

Fix My Photo is a series of free Lightroom presets that are designed to help you solve the usual problems in photography. Each targets a specific element in light, tone, and color.

Warmer Tone Curve free Lightroom preset warms the color temperature of your photos using the tone curve. We prefer using this method over a simple slider adjustment so that we get to fine-tune the photo’s RGB settings. This is exactly why the resulting images get rich colors.

We gathered several images to demonstrate how you can make the most of this preset. It has both functional and artistic uses.

When do I use this preset fix?

Use Warmer Tone Curve if you want to instantly warm your image’s color temperature without diluting colors.

This preset fixes the following problems:

  • Harsh artificial blue light in photos
  • Blue haze
  • Inaccurate, exceedingly cool tones

You can also use its warm effect to set a cozy and inviting mood or atmosphere. It works well on both portraits and landscapes, regardless of lighting conditions.

How do I use it?

Apply this like any other preset. Remember that we designed this to specifically adjust color temperature and ambiance. It is good to set it as a base look, then adjust other parameters from there.

If you want to brighten it up, maybe go simulate sunlight, you can try to adjust the levels of whites and highlights. We think increasing exposure levels would be drastic, so use it only when you think your images are underexposed to begin with.

Adds a Golden Glow

Golden Radiance. The beauty of having a specific blend in color temperature is that you get a distinct look or motif. With this preset, not only do you get to fix a problem, but you also set a beautiful aesthetic.

In the example above, examine how this preset transforms the mood. What we love about this style is its complex glow that makes photos look like they were shot during the golden hour.

Keeps a Natural Sunlit Look

Sunlight. We make sure that the results still look natural — none of those artificial effects that lose appeal after some time. Just compare the Before and After photos above. The result still looks natural, as though just taken at a different time of day. Use this preset to your advantage if you want to give that impression.

Professionally Cohesive. We highly recommend that you use this as an Instagram filter that would give a batch of photos, or your entire feed, a cohesive and professional look.

We designed Warmer Tone Curve to help you produce a uniform look without altering the colors too much. You instead get images that appear to have similar lighting conditions and temperature.
