Warm Pastel. This preset applies a warmth that is simply perfect for skin tones. Unlike many warm presets, Soft Enhance lean towards the magenta spectrum. It is a nice in-between in terms of color temperature, and it has that stylish appeal.
To create this effect, the preset first bumps the warm temperature of the image. It then tints the photo with pastel magenta hues. The balanced combination of these two improvements creates inviting photographs.

Produces Bright and Tender Images
Brilliant. With the above basic enhancements are also the boosts in exposure and contrast. This goes hand in hand with Soft Enhance’s warm magenta motif. Together, these tweaks produce a soft and smooth texture throughout the image.
Let us examine the After photo above. It is brighter, and the colors pop more. The photo is undeniably warmer, too, especially given its high-key background. See the warm magenta on the beach sand and the vast clear sky.
Sets a Gentle but Detailed Look
Soft Yet Crisp. Soft Enhance preset deepens tones to equalize its brightening adjustments. It lowers vibrance a bit and intensifies blacks and highlights. Then, to reveal some detail and remove unwanted dark areas in portraits, the preset also moderately lightens shadows.
You can notice the result in the above example. The after image has more depth. The subject’s face looks clearer and more expressive. We can see more of her eyes and other facial features. At this point, you are also likely to notice how crisper the textures are as well. Soft Enhance, after all, increases sharpening.
To complement the intensified tones and raw attention to the subject, Soft Enhance adds a vignette around the edges. It acts as a nice, stylistic, frame for portraits as well.
