Pastel Pinks. The most noticeable aspect of this preset, and what defines its signature look, is its pastel pink hues. It is soft, tender, and charming. It gives off that distinct warmth that we cannot help but associate with infants and home. Best of all, these pink hues do not appear flat; on the contrary, it is complex, almost creamy.

Softens Images with Fine Adjustments in Tone
Baby Soft. The preset fine-tunes brightness by also adjusting tone. It brightens blacks, highlights, and shadows. To balance this and to add some depth, New Life also deepens dark areas, whites, and shadows in the tone curve.
Let us look at the results in the After photo. It is now visibly softer and brighter. Highlights are amplified but not overblown. Shadows, too, are softer — no harsh shadows overpower the image. You can notice the result the most on the baby’s ears and the folds of her neck and arms. Notice how the dark areas remain defined and detailed because of this preset’s balanced improvements.
