Classic Bright brightens outdoor scenes and draws out their natural colors. It makes photos look evenly sunlit and breathtaking. If you want to add colorful brilliance to nature or landscape shots, this is the preset to go for.
You can also use it to fix unevenly lit or underexposed shots. We did design this to help you save an otherwise dull or dim capture. This is a must-have if you frequently do outdoor photography or need an all-around preset for your travels.
This Classic Bright preset will look amazing on social media, especially if applied as an Instagram filter. It will give your photos a consistent and cohesive look that is sure to grab attention.
Amplifies Sunlight and Color
Warm Brilliance. Classic Bright warms the color temperature, increases exposure, and amplifies contrast. It blends these fundamental adjustments well to recreate sunlight and how it naturally accentuates tones.
In the above photo, you can examine how this preset evenly brightens the scene, from a dim shot to a sunny portrait. Unfortunately, it is common to have underexposed or unevenly lit captures when taking photos outdoors. After all, we cannot control weather conditions — it would be difficult, for example, to get crisp photos in overcast weather.
The good thing is that you can easily solve this problem by applying this preset. The examples below will further show you how this Classic Bright preset enhances other photographic elements.
Adjusts Tones for Optimum Brightness and Detail
Moderated Light. Even with its bright aesthetic, notice how this preset does not overdo highlights. Although it amplifies whites, it also moderates the brightest areas by reducing the intensity of highlights. It complements these adjustments, too, by lightening dark areas. As a result, all these come together to produce tones that are rich in detail.
Let us examine the After photo above. Note the bright whites in the flowering tree. They look beautifully illuminated, but not too much. Its shadows are less harsh and finely textured as well.
Boosts Saturation and Midtones
Bold Hues. The distinct look of this preset comes from its blending of tone and color. Its midtones are crisp and full-bodied; you can see this in the example above, where the subject looks much more distinct.
To achieve this effect, Classic Bright heightens clarity, vibrance, and saturation. These adjustments intensify color and go well with the contrast boost applied earlier. The best part is that, even with these consistent heightening of hues, skin tones retain their natural look. You can examine this in the woman’s dramatic portrait above.
Produces Deep Colors
Deep and Crisp. This set of improvements is perfect for landscape shots. Your photos will have crisp colors, with such rich hues. For this, Classic Bright lowers the saturation of yellow. This helps moderate the added warmth and the predominant yellow tones in landscape photos. Then, for deep blues, the preset decreases the luminance of aqua and blue colors.
Enhances Textures with Sharpening and Noise Reduction
Textured Finish. Then come the finishing touches: the preset sharpens details, reduces noise, and adds some stylistic vignetting.
In the above After photo, notice how you can now see the texture of the man’s clothing; there are the folds and creases, and the fabric’s texture. Then, see how effective the soft vignetting is, too: it draws our attention to, and keeps it on, the subject of the photograph.
