Produces Rich Textures and Hues
Vivid Orange. Autumn preset looks great in photos with a splash of orange in them. Best example is the autumn leaves photo above which feels very warm. The orange and red colors stand out more due to increased brightness and clarity.
Crisp Textures. You can also notice the improvement in texture, too. The After photo has sharper details, especially at the base of the trees. Look at those gritty slopes and crisp fallen leaves.
Warms Photos for an Inviting Look & Feel
Warmth in Fall. Another example of increased warmth in photos is this portrait of fall foliage. Again, the red and orange colors are highlighted.
The Autumn preset further enhances colors by fine-tuning its brightening; unlike simpler presets, this seasonal filter does not plainly boost the exposure slider. It goes in-depth instead by increasing the whites and shadows in this photo. As a result, you get well-defined photos, both in terms of color and texture.
Enhances both Light and Dark Tones
Rich Tones. What makes the Autumn preset perfect for theming is that it works best on pictures with elements of nature, green and brown colors. The increased whites and orange colors on this Swiss Alp After photo are obvious. The photo has become richer, warmer, livelier.
The preset adds brown tones in shadows too. This adds a subtle and elegant hue to the dark tones, and it contributes to the overall look and feel of fall.
Adds Subtle yet Dramatic Hues
Emotive Accents. Not only does the Autumn preset highlights red and orange colors in photos. As you can see in the example above, it also intensifies magentas. This gives a slight accent in the mid-low spectrum. This little adjustment is already crucial in setting the scene, especially in establishing a reflective mood. Notice the richer, cozier, warmer tones as well. Isn’t the After photo more inviting? You get to appreciate more details: sharper leaves, coarser rocks, and a clearer stream (plus vivid reflections). The preset primarily produce this effect by increasing clarity and contrast.
