The below examples will show you how this preset enhances natural tones — you will always get a stunning natural-looking autumn scene. Nothing will seem artificial.
You can try this filter on any shot that predominantly has autumn hues. This works well on many outdoor or well-lit scenes, too. Its magenta tint is something you can experiment with.
Lively Autumn Scenes
Rich Vibrance. This preset brightens images with a boost in exposure. Vibrance is also improved throughout the image. See how livelier the After photo has become because of it. It is now more captivating and rich in color. You can see more of the leaf's texture, too, as more details are revealed.
Let us further compare the Before and After images: the left has dull and dark browns, while the right has bright and rich orange-brown tones. The resulting photo looks more dynamic and much more appealing.
Autumn in Vintage Matte
Retro Feel. Autumn Fields preset gives a subtle vintage feel because of its muted highlights and shadows. This effect looks as though the image was shot from an analog camera. Notice how the blacks are less intense, warmer, and cozier. There is a softer look overall, without compromising textures and clarity. To balance this effect, the preset also increases the luminance of red and green tones. The leaves on the floor exude more lightness, so do the leaves in the undergrowth.
A Touch of Pastel
Warm Magenta. The touch of magenta makes images more inviting. This enhances the mood of the autumn scene; what you get is an alluring shot with soft autumn tones.
This tint works so well with the brown hues added in the shadows. This blend gives some depth without intensifying other visual elements. Nothing sticks out too much, as a result. The entire photo is thematically coherent.
Tip: Autumn Skies works beautifully in social media uploads. Because of its specific theme, your photos will appear more unified in your Instagram post or page.
Soft Autumn Hues
Autumn in Matte. Notice how the After photo appears more colorful without being too saturated. Look at the reds, most especially. They serve as an understated accent. This goes to show that you do not need an oversaturated, high-contrast, alteration to produce a stunning photograph. An enhanced natural look can go a long way, after all. Light, colors, and textures are boosted just enough to exude the soft Autumn Fields aesthetic.
Like the previous example, you may notice how the blacks are less intense here, especially those between the gaps.
