Creates Complex Blue Tones
Cool Hues. The Street Preset increases cool color temperatures and applies a complex mix of green, blue and aqua tones to create this look. The image above appears sharper and illuminated since shadows and blacks were heightened to lighten out dark pigments.
Looking closely at the example above, the After photo instantly looks different. With the added filter of cool color tones, and texture for that street style vibe, this preset definitely performs well in low light images in such contexts.
Sets a Modern Look in Urban Scenes
Monochrome Feel. In addition to the preset’s settings on custom tones, it is evident how the preset saturates and intensifies cool hues as it converts different hues to a complex mix of blue, green and aqua tones. In the example above, the colors form the before photo is mostly converted to the preset’s custom color mix which projects a monochrome look and feel.
Enhances Custom Warm Tones For a Detailed Look
Bright details. Although the Street preset focuses on cool color temperatures, it also saturates some warm tones to create a contrast and pop of color from the blue and aqua hues. The preset specifically intensifies orange and red tones, as you can see in the example above.
Looking closely at the After photo, patches of orange and red shades are seen throughout the image, creating a contrast from the blue filter. The preset also incorporates a vignette that acts as a subtle frame and creates a dark and dramatic feel to the overall image.
Textured Elements. In the example above, the Street preset increases vibrance. You can see the result through the color elements of the image. The orange and red parts of the photo are lighter but distinct. Notice how these pop to add contrast in the overall image.
You can also notice how darker parts of the image have more texture now. The preset slightly lightens these to bring out more visible elements. The preset produces this look through adjustments in highlights, blacks, and sharpness.
Applies Custom Tone Curve Settings
Magenta Accents. The Street preset creates a custom tone curve with increased blacks. It also adds clarity and a soft effect to give a balanced textured look on your image. This means having lighter dark elements and degrees of texture in your photos.
Looking at the example above, in the After photo, the bright white tones of the image projects a warm look through the blue tones. This is evident because the preset heightening its magenta tint. Through this, you get a mixture of cool and warm tones that completes that urban street style feel.
