Just like in any photo taken by an analog film camera, the preset adds subtle textures by increasing clarity, adding grain, and implementing a slight blurring effect on the image. This makes the preset create soft textures throughout.

Adds Warm Yellow Tones On Your Images
Sidewalk. The preset increases shadows and contrast to accentuate dark and dim elements. It also adds a lot of yellow tones in its highlights for a dated vintage look.
The example above shows how yellow tones appear through the highlights once the preset is applied, it looks bright on lighter colors and muted on dark or low light areas. This gives the image a dramatic look and also helps create an illusion that the photo was taken with an old film camera.
Soft View. The Rustic Vintage preset increases clarity and adds grain to its settings to bring out a soft, textured look. The image above shows soft textures and creates a slight fade for that retro film touch.
Again, the example above shows you how the yellow highlights adapt in the photo once the preset is applied. In the After photo, it changes the blue color of the sea to light green, and also overlays a yellow tint on the sand of the shore, the mountain, and even person’s boots. These settings help complete the overall classic film camera look on your images.
Frames Photographs
Carnival. Looking at the After image above, it is evident how the yellow tones of the preset react to the blue sky and convert it to a light green tone. The red tones are desaturated but are still evident through the yellow filter. This adds to the color accents in the overall photo.
The preset also adds some vignette which is seen in the After photo above. The vignette helps frame the whole image and gives a gradient effect on the sky.

Illuminates Violet And Purple Tones
Street Pose. The Rustic Vintage preset adds violet and purple tones in its shadows. This creates a bit of dramatic flair on the dark colors as well as complement the highlights. The photo above shows how the violet-purple tints stand out once the preset is applied. You can see how the girl’s jacket keeps its violet-purple color in the processed image, despite it being desaturated. The texture of the jacket is also revealed through the help of the preset’s lighting, by increasing exposure the image gains brightness throughout that helps elevate these minute details.
