This submitted preset, called Autumn Skies, is always ready for pumpkin spice season!
It enhances fall colors in landscape photos. You will get warm and soft brown hues that will enhance the look and feel of the scenery. This filter does not distort colors, but rather enhances them. You will notice these subtle yet transformative improvements in the before and after examples and, of course, in your own photos when you download it!
You may use this Autumn Skies preset in autumn scenes that feature the intricate colors of fall and are taken under natural light.
Warm Autumn Hues and Enhanced Textures
Cozy in Autumn. This preset for Lightroom adds a delicate warmth to any shot. This improvement in color temperature serves as the backdrop of the autumn hues, complementing every shade. Blacks, shadows, and sharpening have been boosted to reveal the rich textures of the season.
In the example above, the After photo has browner and more defined tones. There is a greater sense of depth now, thanks to the tweaks in the lower spectrum. You can notice these changes by looking at the leaves and the detailed forest floor. The next example will further demonstrate how this preset gives a more coherent Autumn feel.
Autumn in Soft Matte
Soft Autumn Hues. The example above shows this preset’s multiple layers of effects. The most apparent improvement is the trees’ soft, matte, hues.
Two tweaks primarily produce this effect:
- The decrease in saturation for the red, orange, and yellow channels
- A boost in the magenta spectrum
These are crucial to emphasizing the autumn look and feel. There is now a balance of warm and cool tones in the After photo, which is exactly how we perceive autumn: warm cozy atmosphere, cool climate. These bluish tones come from the graduated filter that the Autumn Skies preset applies to the image. You can see this effect best when comparing the skies of the photos above.
A Vivid Autumn Scene
Brightened Scenery. You may also use this preset for high key shots in the autumn season. The example above has a lot of light and a bright sky in the background.
See how this stylish preset produces brilliant whites and fine details. The increase in the luminance of warm colors, along with the boost in whites, produces this effect. To further add depth and blend with the autumn theme, a gentle brown tint is added to the shadows. Look at the After photo: see how warmer the forest floor and the man’s skin tone are.
